LabStats has integrated Remote Desktop access for PCs, making it easy to manage computers. To use Remote Desktop via LabStats, it must be enabled on Windows machines, then in LabStats’ settings.
- To enable Remote Desktop in LabStats, navigate to Admin, click Settings.
- Click General Settings.
- Check the box next to Create RDP links for Windows Computers, then click Submit.
- Navigate to the computer info page for the computer needing to be accessed.
- This can be done by clicking on the computer name in Groups, Tags or the Computer Manager.
- Click Connect at the bottom of the left sidebar menu.
- An RDP file will be downloaded. Click the file to run it.
- An “Unknown Publisher” prompt may be shown. Click Connect.
- Enter your login credentials, and click OK.
- The connection will be initiated.
