RDP Connection

LabStats has integrated Remote Desktop access for PCs, making it easy to manage stations. To use Remote Desktop via LabStats, it must be enabled on Windows machines, then in LabStats’ settings.

  1. To enable Remote Desktop in LabStats, navigate to Admin, click Settings.
  2. Click General Settings.
  3. Check the box next to Create RDP links for Windows Stations, then click Submit.
  4. Navigate to the station info page for the station needing to be accessed.
    • This can be done by clicking on the station name in Groups, Tags or the Station Manager.
    • Click Connect at the bottom of the left sidebar menu.
  5. An RDP file will be downloaded. Click the file to run it.
  6. An “Unknown Publisher” prompt may be shown. Click Connect.
  7. Enter your login credentials, and click OK.
  8. The connection will be initiated.
