How does LabStats protect data?

LabStats is committed to protecting the privacy of the individuals who interact with us. Security is a concern we take very seriously, and we are committed to providing ironclad data protection. Use LabStats with the knowledge that the information collected is completely safe. LabStats runs on Microsoft’s Azure Cloud Services, offering world-class security, privacy, and compliance with data storage regulations. Our policies and practices for securing student data are:

  • We do not collect, store or report on any personally identifiable data.
  • We do not allow outside agencies to access the data for any reason.
  • LabStats meets the 12 PCI compliance requirements. We do not store cardholder data; payments must be made directly by our customers annually by providing the information each time.
  • We operate our online applications via Microsoft’s Azure Cloud Services, which are fully compliant with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and several other independently verified regulatory requirements.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure any information we collect.
